In 2007, Abby Johnson, 11 year old from Perrysburg was diagnosed with medulloblastoma (pediatric brain cancer).

She had surgery at Toledo Children’s Hospital to partially remove the tumor and had treatment with radiation and chemotherapy.

Currently, Abby is in junior high and is tutored at home.

Abby has had many complications with her 13 brain surgeries.

These surgeries caused her to lose much of her vision, her speech has become difficult to understand and her ability to walk has become severely compromised. Most recently, complications have caused some respiratory issues.

Insurance is reaching the lifetime limit yet she requires much therapy and care.
